Azealia Banks Drops The Hammer On Beyonce

by HHL JT

Earlier this week, Beyonce dropped the track house music track "Break My Soul".

Some folks on Twitter pointed out that the so-called Queen Bey sounded like a dime-store Azealia Banks, as Banks has been solidly in the house music space for years.

It didn't take long for Banks to pick up on that theme.  Here is what she said about the wife of Hov.

“I'm sorry this is really creepy.  Beyoncé's been trying to write me out of my own narrative for years at this point.  This is so weird ... What are you trying to do?  Are you trying to encapsulate my music in time and say like it's vintage or something?  As if my last three releases haven't whipped your ass, are you kidding?  As if I'm not showing, like, major versatility.  You to be my so badly.  You wanted to Solange.  You want to be Chloe Baily and do a Little Mermaid movie ... You're a joke ... You're so sneaky. You're trying to erase my contributions to house music, dance music, electronic music and all of that. ..  You're a f*cking creep.  Creep. Beyonce, and you watch everything I do ... Just the levels of thirst.  You want to try to write me out of my own narrative and then try to own that narrative," Banks said.

Is that a realistic assessment of the situation?
