Authorities Find Evidence Of Residency At R. Kelly's Chicago Studio

by Benny Franklin

What a month for R. Kelly.

After experiencing panic attacks due to the airing of the Surviving R. Kelly Docuseries, Kelly is now facing more trouble as authorities visited his Chicago studio today.

TMZ is reporting that the Cook County Building and Zoning Dept visited Kelly's studio today and did, in fact, find building code violations, including evidence that his studio was being used for residential purposes.

A spokesperson for the City of Chicago also reports that there has been work done inside without permits. The city will file an amended complaint against R. Kelly for a future court hearing.

On top of that, Kelly is way behind on his rent, owing $166,000 and is facing eviction before the month's end.

Things aren't looking so good for the I Believe I Can Fly singer.
