Def Jam has done a good job of getting out their artists in the fourth quarter. Besides Kanye West and Rihanna, damn near everyone active has dropped  an album or plans to. Still, it's hard to believe that August Alsina is releasing his sophomore album, This Thing Called Life, on December 11. The promo feels light this time around, as August isn't riding through with a hit single like 'I Luv This Shit.'

This Thing Called Life is set to have appearances from Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Jadakiss and Anthony Hamilton. Pre-order through iTunes on December 4.
