Unfortunately, the death toll is now nine, as one of the victims succumbed to her injuries.
22-year-old Bharti Shahani passed away from injuries sustained during the crowd surge at the festival.
According to TMZ, Shahani was a Texas A&M University student, and died after she suffered multiple heart attacks in the crowd surge.
