Las Vegas police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder in the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur, AP sources say.

Pac was gunned down in a drive-by shooting after a Mike Tyson fight in Vegas.

Last month, it was reported that the Las Vegas District Attorney would present evidence of  Keefe D's involvement in Pac's killing to a grand jury and seek murder charges against the 60-year-old.

It's unclear if Keefe is the man arrested today.

Keefe D has admitted to being in the car when his late nephew Orlando Anderson killed Pac.

Las Vegas police searched Keefe's home earlier this year.

Update:  Keefe D confirmed as arrested man.
