Armed Cops To Protect Fans At Eminem Show In Scotland

by HHL Editors

When Eminem plays Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, Scotland tonight there will be armed cops surrounding and within the venue.

The police will also be closing several roads around the park.

It's not in response to any specific threat. Rather it's a reaction to last week's terrorist strike in Barcelona, Spain, and to recent mass-casualty attacks at an Ariana Grande show in England and an Eagles Of Death Metal show in France.

"We plan for what we don’t expect, and as well as the armed police, we will have some road closures gave mind what happened in Barcelona," explained event commander Superintendent John McBride.
Everybody stay safe.
