Was Ariana Grande's relationship with Big Sean just a stepping stone for her to get to Mac Miller?

It sounds a little bit like that in an interview Grande did with Cosmo.

“I met [Miller] when I was 19. We have loved and adored and respected each other since the beginning, since before we even met, just because we were fans of each other’s talent. We weren’t ready at all, though, to be together. It’s just timing.”

She started dating Sean about six months later.

Oh well. Sean still smashed and got a song out of the whole thing. And now he's with Jhene Aiko, so he shouldn't be too broke up about all of this.
