Yesterday, we got Big Sean's side of the story on his breakup with Ariana Grande. He blamed it on her immaturity, her spendthrift ways, and her use of Justin Bieber as a prop to anger him.
Today, we got Ariana Grande's take on the split, and not surprisingly she sees things differently.
According to sources who spoke to TMZ, Grande thought Sean was self-absorbed and denied any planned shenanigans with Bieber. But the final straw for Grande was Big Sean's Dark Sky Paradise track ‘Stay Down,' in which he spits "I got a million-dollar chick with a billion-dollar pussy/Every time I come, I swear to God I feel rich."
Grande says the lyrics humiliated her because Sean was treating her like meat. She was especially embarrassed when her grandmother asked her about the bars.
In an interview with Rolling Stone back in March, Sean claimed Grande had no problem with the racy lyrics.
"I don’t have to run it by my girl, but she hears,” Sean said about 'Stay Down'. "I played her the whole album before it came out, so she heard everything. She’s very open-minded. I’m proud of her."Apparently she wasn't so open-minded. Or she's trying to score post-breakup points.
