Ari Lennox no longer wants to be a part of J. Cole's Dreamville Records after signing to the label in 2015. She wants off Interscope Records as well, which does distribution for Dreamville.
I want to be dropped from the labels. I’m done and tired.— Ari Lennox (@AriLennox) January 23, 2022
"I want to be dropped from the labels. I’m done and tired," she tweeted on Sunday, January 23.
The singer then responded to a social media user and once again said she wants off the label.
Shut up! The interview was the icing on the cake. I want to be free. https://t.co/B8t7ck8WR4— Ari Lennox (@AriLennox) January 23, 2022
"Shut up! The interview was the icing on the cake. I want to be free," she tweeted.
Whether Lennox really wants to be off the label or she was just having a bad day is of course unknown. Especially since she often vents on social media, whether it was when she admitted to having sex with a celebrity or explaining why she's had difficulty finding a mate.
Do you think Cole will let Lennox walk away from Dreamville?
