A couple of days ago, Al Sharpton expressed concern about there not being enough Black jurors in A$AP Rocky's trial.

But unsurprisingly, Sharpton's message hasn't changed the outcome at all.

Rocky is being accused of shooting A$AP Reli in Los Angeles in 2021.

"It has been brought to my attention, by the National Action Network Los Angeles office, that out of one hundred and six (106) people called to potentially sit as jurors in A$AP Rocky’s trial in Los Angeles, there are only 4 black people," Sharpton tweeted. " I have been closely in touch with A$AP Rocky’s friends, and though I do not know the particulars of the trial, I do know he deserves to be judged fairly by his peers, as is his Constitutional right."

The jury selection process concluded yesterday, and no Black people were selected, as the jury consists of whites, Hispanics, and Asians. There are also four alternate jurors, who are women but not Black.

Rocky's legal team doesn't seem to believe race will be a factor since they had an equal say with prosecutors about who the jurors would be.

Regardless, the Harlem rapper is rolling the dice with his freedom because he turned down a plea deal, which would have given him 180 days in county jail. If Rocky is found guilty, he could get 24 years in prison.

What do you think about the jury not having any Black people?
