We still don't have the first week projections for Adele's new album 30.
Her last album, 25, did 3.38 million in its first week, an all-time record by almost a million.
While we doubt 30 will do those kind of numbers, it is changing the way Spotify is releasing its music.
This was the only request I had in our ever changing industry! We don’t create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended. Thank you Spotify for listening 🍷♥️ https://t.co/XWlykhqxAy

Now new albums won't default to shuffle, and instead, the listener will hear it in order.
Good change?
