A$AP Yams Passes Away At Age 26

by HHL Editors

A$AP Yams, who once described his role in the A$AP Mob as Yoda to A$AP Rocky's Skywalker, has died at age 26. His passing was mentioned early this morning on social media, but so far we haven't received any details on his death.

Yams (Steve Rodriguez) co-founded the collective in 2007, a year before Rocky came aboard. Since then, he's been known for his beats and for the crafting of the Mob's overall strategy.

We send our condolences to Rodriguez's friends and family. See how Hip Hop has reacted to this sad news below.
