A$AP Rocky Says Trump Made His Sweden Assault Case A 'Little Worse'

by Daryl Nelson

A$AP Rocky talked about his 2019 arrest in Sweden in his new documentary Stockholm Syndrome. At the time, the rapper and others were arrested after getting into a fight with two men, who they said were harassing them.

At one point, Donald Trump intervened and tried to help Rocky get out of prison, but many accused the former president of doing it to secure more black votes.

Rocky said that he realized the same thing and that Trump actually made things harder for him. The Harlem rhymer also talked about Trump supporters who criticized him for not thanking the former reality star publicly.

"It was a chess move and they tried to strong-arm a lot,” said Rocky. “In reality, I had no problem saying thank you to the man, especially if he helped me. That’s the narrative they pushin: That he got me out. And he didn’t free me. If anything, he made it a little worse."

Any thoughts?
