Aaliyah's Estate Issues Statement On Fans Disrespecting Aaliyah's Wax Figure

by HHL JT

Earlier this month, Madame Tussauds debuted a wax figure of the late singer Aaliyah wearing an outfit similar to what she wore in her video for "Try Again."

Some of her fans have been treating the statue inappropriately, changing her hair and even applying makeup to her full-sized likeness.

Aaliyah's team issued a statement on the disrespectful behavior.

We ask kindly that anyone visiting the Aaliyah wax figure @TussaudsVegas please treat it with respect, this has been a lot of years of hard work by her fans petitioning and her family’s @RAD_6 support ! Below is inappropriate and unacceptable #TeamAaliyah pic.twitter.com/QBcsHNdkfB
