A Third Person Arrested In Young Dolph Murder Investigation

by Daryl Nelson

After Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith were arrested in connection with Young Dolph's murder, a third man, 27-year-old Shundale Barnett has also been arrested.

U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller shared the news at a press conference held in Memphis on Wednesday, January 12 and said Barnett helped Johnson while he was on the run.

Johnson was named as the person who shot and killed Dolph on November 17, while it's said Smith was involved with stealing the white Mercedes Benz that was used in the murder.

When U.S Marshals nabbed Johnson in Terre Haute, Indiana earlier this week Barnett was in the car with him.

"Shundale Barnett is a person who, we believe, was providing assistance to Justin since we’ve been looking for him," Miller explained.

It's possible that others will be arrested in connection with Dolph's murder but that, of course, remains to be determined.
