A few days before Christmas, a report surfaced that said Meek Mill was cheating on Nicki Minaj with a woman named Sonye Princess, so when the two split many thought that was the reason.
A TMZ source, however, said the superstar couple broke up over something else, a nasty fight they had fight in the islands of Turks and Caicos.
The way the story goes, Meek was hanging out with his friends during the trip instead of Nicki, and eventually she blew up at him. Then at some point, he left the island without her, which caused her to end their relationship.
In regards to Princess, the TMZ source says that she and the MMG spitter were involved before Nicki came on the scene, and she's now suing certain publications for defamation for suggesting otherwise.
Neither Meek nor Nicki has confirmed any of this.
