Kendrick Lamar's 'Damn.' Reaches No. 1 Again

by Daryl Nelson

After speaking on wack artists and dropping visuals to 'Loyalty,' Kendrick Lamar sees his Damn. album sitting on top of the charts again this week, four months after its release.

According to Nielsen Music, the album sold 47,000 equivalent album units during the week of Aug. 10, with 11,000 of those traditional album sales.  The album has now been No. 1 for four nonconsecutive weeks total, making it the LP with the most time on top of the charts since The Weeknd's Starboy album.

Shortly after its release, DAMN. went N0. 1 on Billboard, moving over 600,000 units in its first week. Last month, K. Dot thanked fans for the huge numbers.
