Tory Lanez Talks Squashing Beef With Drake In New Interview [WATCH]

by Daryl Nelson

Tory Lanez sat down with Hot 97's Nessa Nitty at this year's Summer Jam concert in New York City and gave details about his recent truce with Drake. As we reported last month, the two rappers settled things after someone got them on the phone. They also posted a photo together.

"It's about music at this point," said Lanez "It was a couple of other things around [squashing the beef], but that's between me and him ... I think for it to happen the way it happened, it was supposed to happen that way. And for whatever the reasons around it were, you know, are between me and him."
Tory then talked about being discriminated against at the Canadian luxury store Holt Renfrew, which happened a little over a week ago.

"We were going to the store to spend 35K regardless," he explained. "So when we walked in the store, the dude looked at us, and he just kind of turned around, because I was in sweats. I just had the bag on me. That's all. It wasn't that we spent money to get at him, because of course the store is still going to get the bread. The fact of the matter was, we gave the store credit to somebody else, so the 35k went to somebody else. That's why I filmed him on camera. I was like 'You should have got the business, but next time you should think twice before you look at somebody based off the appearance of how they look.'"
