50 Cent Says His New Album Won't Be As Smart As JAY-Z's '4:44' [VIDEO]

50 Cent believes it's important to dumb down music for Hip Hop fans. And plans on doing just that on Street King Immortal, which he says will drop later this year after a five-year delay.

"I said [4:44] was good. I just said it was too smart," he told Access Hollywood about JAY-Z's new album. "I think you do got to kind of dumb down the material to fit into what the culture is producing. Now, it's more melody-driven. It's not as sophisticated as it was when I first came in."
Afterward, 50 talked about Street King Immortal and how it differs from 4:44.

"It won't be as smart as the JAY-Z record," he said. "I want to make music that people can have fun to, so you don't have to stop. You can get it immediately without having to sit and analyze it."
50's comments come after he first said 4:44 sounds like golf music and that Jay can't be the best rapper because of his age.

Do you agree with his latest statements? Is it really important to dumb down rap music or is there already enough music in the genre that's dumbed down? You can hear 50 talk about JAY-Z below at the 3:55 mark.
