The Eminem featuring Beyonce track "Walk on Water" was a hit.
But it wasn't the hit it could have been, considering it was Eminem featuring Beyonce.
50 Cent thinks he knows why the song didn't become a sensation.
"I listened to Em’s project. I really like some of the choices but that Beyoncé song—I just wished they’d put some drums on it," 50 said in an interview with Complex.
"I should just do that and be like, “Yo, Em! You forgot the drums!" he added when the interviewer wondered why he didn't text Em with the suggestion. "But I like the idea of that song. I like what it’s about."
The relatively soft reaction to "Walk On Water" foretold the relatively soft reaction to Eminem's ninth album Revival.
