50 Cent Made A Small Fortune In Bitcoin

by HHL JT

50 Cent's fifth studio album Animal Ambition didn't sell much, particularly by Fif's standards.

The 2014 project only did 47K first week and it was downhill from there.

However, 50 may end up making a small fortune on Animal Ambition.

That's because he accepted bitcoin for the album, making him the first artist to do such a thing.

Bitcoin was at $662 when Animal Ambition debuted and is now a little over $10,000.

50 is said to have pulled in about 700 bitcoin in sales at the time.  If he still has them now they would be worth a little north of $7 million. (And if he sold them last month it would have been for almost twice that.)

Not bad for what seemed like a flop at the time.

A little bitcoin anyone? LOL. l know l make you sick but excuse me...I’m getting to the bag 💰 #denofthieves pic.twitter.com/DCJu2thDr9
