50 Cent Helps A Liquor Store Sell 1,400 Bottles Of Vodka Just By Showing Up

by A. Mia Logan

We all like to think that time is money, but for some people that phrase is a bit more than just a euphemism. Take Hip Hop super mogul, 50 Cent, for example. He recently showed up to a liquor warehouse in upstate New York for a bottle signing of his signature Effen vodka line, and despite this being the first time most of us have probably ever heard of the booze, hundreds of people showed up to take pictures with him and fellow G-Unit members, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks.

Apparently, hanging out in the still chilly Syracuse with 50 Cent and his friends from 2004  must be a lot of fun because the rapper was there for over three hours. Warehouse owner George Angeloro said they sold 1,400 bottles or 277 gallons of Jackson’s signature brand. Proof the power of Fif can still move units.

In case you didn't know, Fifty has been beefing with vodka entrepreneur competitor Diddy since about last November, when the Queens rapper began the Effen deal and he started started the hashtag #nopuffyjuice to take shots at Diddy's Ciroc partnership. Last month, 50 and Bad Boy artist French Montana got into because French is tired of Fif dissing his boss's Vodka Instagram. Of course, Diddy reached out to squash it, of course Fifty refused.
