50 Cent Wants Post Malone for Pop Smoke's Album, Which Angers Some Of Pop's Fans

by Daryl Nelson

50 Cent recently announced that he's going to executive produce and finish Pop Smoke's album.  Now he's letting people know when it will arrive.

"Set for release in May," wrote 50 on Instagram. "Oh yeah @postmalone i’m gonna hit ya phone, i need you on this."

The G-Unit rapper has already put out a request to Drake, Chris Brown and Roddy Ricch to work on the project. But when people learned that 50 wanted Post Malone on it, some rejected the idea. Mainly, because they said Pop wouldn't have worked with Post because their music is so different.

"Trust my judgement i know what i’m doing," 50 wrote in the comments section of his message about Malone.

50 also said he'll make sure the album sounds good.

"I’m looking at everything through a different lens, everybody i call ain’t coming but i’m doing what i have to do to make it hot," he wrote. "i don’t like a lot of you weak ass n!ggas but i likes pop smoke."

Pop Smoke was shot and killed in Hollywood, Calif. on Feb. 19, and no arrests have been made.

How do you think his posthumous album will sound?
