50 Cent has made it known several times that he really liked Pop Smoke.
The G-Unit rapper said he'd finish and executive produce Pop's album after he was murdered in Hollywood last month and 50 was part of Pop's funeral procession too.
Fif also made a promise to the late rapper's mother that the album he executive produces will eventually get her to an awards show.
During a recent Instagram Live session, the "Many Men" creator explained why he was so fond of Pop Smoke, and he did it by telling a cool story about him.
"Pop Smoke, that was one of my favorites," said Fif. "I liked that n*gga, man. I swear to God, I like that n*gga man. I met him. We was talking. I'm watching him, right? He keep playing with his phone. These little n*ggas play with they phone all the time. I'm like yo, what the f*ck is wrong with this n*gga? I get up 'cause I'm trying to see what the f*ck he's doing ... The n*gga was writing what I said down."
