50 Cent Explains Why He Took Down Social Media Posts Mocking Diddy's Arrest

by HHL Editors

Minutes after the news broke that Puff Diddy had been arrested for assaulting an UCLA football coach, 50 Cent was thinking up ways to mock his vodka adversary on social media.

50 posted a bunch of savage memes and skits on Instagram. But hours later they were gone.

He explained why in an interview with the Huffington Post:

"When it's happening and it's like, 'What? What happened?', I'm getting it like everyone else is getting it and just making fun of the situation," 50 said. "But when it gets to him actually being charged with something, you pump the brakes a little bit and see what happens with his actual case." "It's not the first time a parent has gotten into an argument with a coach, and the coach particularly involved in this situation is someone that we can call, like, an asshole," 50 said.
50's unlikely support isn't the only good news for Diddy. There are also reports that UCLA's "asshole" coaches want the charges against Puff dropped, and didn't want them pursued in the first place. (An intern who witnessed the confrontation made the call to the police.)

Although UCLA's staff believes Puff's the asshole -- and want him banned from practices -- they also acknowledge that nobody was seriously hurt in the incident, and prosecution of the mogul could be distracting to the football team.

However, the incident was apparently caught on video. So prosecutors could still move forward with the charges against PD without the coaches' cooperation.
