The term "Hot Girl Summer" was first uttered by Megan Thee Stallion. Then social media and the mainstream media picked it up and it took on a life of its own.

Next, it was turned into a hit song from Meg, Nicki Minaj, and Ty Dolla $ign.  After that, there was a video for the song in which Nicki got roasted for the way she twerked.

Now 21 Savage has declared "Hot Girl Summer" over, even though we still have more days of the summer season.
