21 Savage Gives First Interview After Being Released By ICE

21 Savage gave his first interview after being released by ICE for overstaying his visa.

He was taken into custody on Super Bowl Sunday after it was learned that he was actually born in the United Kingdom. Savage explained what the arrest was like during the interview.

"I just seen guns and blue lights, and I was in the back of a car, and I was gone," he told Good Morning America. "They didn't say nothing. They just said 'We got Savage.' I was defintely targeted."

Savage also said that he wasn't hiding the fact that he was born in the U.K. but didn't want to broadcast it in fear of being deported, which still might happen.

"I've been here 20 years, 19 years," he explained. "This is all I know. I don't feel like you should be arrested and put in a place where a muderer would be just for being in the country for too long."
