Last week, a very well circulated Vice article argued that 2 Chainz has become one of the best rappers alive.

But he's not going to be able to capitalize on that momentum in the near future. His Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album, which had been set to drop next Friday, April 7, has been pushed back indefinitely. In announcing the news, 2 Chainz blames his label Def Jam for the delay.

It happens that April 7 is the date Kendrick Lamar recently teased for his new album. With Joey Badass also dropping next Friday, we guess Def Jam thought that was too much competition for their (Tity) Boi.
