2 Chainz has worn many hats. College basketball player. Tity Boi. Cable news pundit. And, of course, Hip Hop superstar.
But the 37-year old's next role might be his most surprising. During an interview with XXL, 2 Chainz revealed that there is an effort to draft him to run for mayor of his hometown of College Park, Ga.
"I’m a musician, not a politician," he said. "I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications."As for qualifications ... It's important to remember that stumbling, bumbling crack-smoking drunk Rob Ford was mayor of a much bigger city than College Park. So 2 Chainz may be alright here.
