Jeremiah Dickey, a 19-year-old from Brooklyn, was shot dead while live-streaming his rapping on Facebook Live.

In the video, which Facebook quickly removed, Dickey is sitting in his car, rapping along to a song.  That goes on for about 35 seconds. Dickey suddenly looks out the window and is felled by five continuous shots.

Police were quick to arrive on the scene, but Dickey was unresponsive.

"I just miss my son," Debra Dickey, Jeremiah's mother, told CNN. "I shouldn't have to be sitting here sobbing while they're still out there running free."

There have been no arrests so far, and the NYPD told CNN they couldn't confirm there was a video of the shooting.

Facebook, however, acknowledged that there was.

"This is a terrible incident and our thoughts are with the victim and his loved ones," a Facebook company spokesperson said.

RIP.
