If Young Thug bars always sound like they are just coming off the top of his dome it's because they are.

In an interview with i-D. Thugger confessed he's never written a lyric.

“I’ve never written a lyric,” he admitted.  I’m not patient enough to sit and write. I feel like it just takes a lot of my day.”

That being said, there is one situation in which Thug will put pen to paper.

"I have wrote, like, when I was incarcerated,” he said. “Anytime I had to go to jail for a day or something. I just like write, because it's like f*ck I got to do something if I got to stay here 24 hours.  The  only way I could write is I just got time on my hands and there’s nothing in the world I could do. And the only place you can do that is prison."

Would Thugger's lyrics improve if he got locked up?
