Xzibit Busted For DUI. On His Wedding Night

When you envision a wedding, you think about the bride and groom being taken by limo to their honeymoon once the reception has ended. That's not what happened to Xzibit when he got hitched Saturday night to Krista Joiner at the St. Regis Monarch Beach hotel in the LA area . We know this because at 12:30 AM on Sunday the former Pimp My Ride host was pulled over for speeding and then arrested for drunk driving.

According to LAPD Captain Jason Kravetz, "the officer contacted the driver and smelled alcohol. This started a driving under the influence investigation which ended with the arrest of [Xzibit]."

The 40-year old spent his wedding night in prison and was released in the morning after he sobered up. He faces one misdemeanor count of DUI.

This isn't the first time Xzibit's heavy foot has gotten him into legal hot water. In 2007, his license was seized in the Netherlands after he was clocked doing 160 Km/h in a 100 Km/h zone. (He claimed he thought the speed limit was posted in MPH.)

And yes, Xzibit did once record a song called 'Alkaholik.'
