Last night, XXXTentacion posted a brief IG video in which he appears to hang himself.

The video fits in with the dark imagery XXX has been using to promote his debut album 17, which drops tonight.

However, lots of people thought it went too far because it glorified/made light of suicide.

XXX clapped back at that with another IG post, which proves that the image of the hanging is from a music video he is working on.

Is XXX trying to have it both ways by claiming his publicity stunt wasn't a publicity stunt?
