You can do a lot of things in Las Vegas, but hitting a cop is not one of them.

According to TMZ, at around 4:20 Saturday morning Canadian crooner the Weeknd was involved in a fight in the lobby of the Cromwell Hotel on the Vegas strip. The cops were called and one of them pulled The Weeknd into an elavator to try to break up the brawl. At which point, the 24-year old allegedly slugged the officer in the head.

That earned him a trip directly to jail for battery of a protected person.

The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) was bailed out later that day, and posted this telling Intagram photo as he fled Sin City.
