Wale's "golden silence" has come to an end.
The 39-year-old dropped the single "Max Julien" this week and is signaling his first album since 2021's Folarin 2.
The album won't be on his long-time label MMG.
A few months ago, Wale quietly signed a deal with Def Jam, and MMG isn't listed anywhere on "Max Julien."

Is a new label what Wale needs to get his career rolling again?
