Snoop Dogg Concedes Eminem Made Him Step Up His Game

Eminem and Snoop Dogg were at odds for a moment after Snoop coldly dismissed Shady from his top ten.

But the two Dr. Dre protegees quickly made up and recently dropped the track “From The D 2 LBC."

According to Snoop, the presence of Eminem made him step up his game on the cut.

"Yeah, but you killed it though, bro," Em said of Snoop's effort on the track.

"You challenge me Marshall. You put me back in my karate school days, where I used to be a young MC and, you know, loved the challenge of having to try new styles and new cadences.  You know what I'm saying.  “The rap game is supposed to be challenging; it’s supposed to make you dig in your bag. ‘Cause I’ve heard you on other songs with other rappers and you tend to show out, so I wanted to make sure I was going to represent," Snoop said."

“You showed out," Em said.

"I just want to represent with you one time," Snoop ended.
