If You Sign Up For Tidal Jay Z Might Call You

Jay Z's Tidal streaming service has gotten off to a rocky start.

While it had an impressive star-studded roll out, there have been questions about its interface, its value to artists and its price. (In fairness, it does have a $9.99 a month standard sound subscription option -- the same price as Spotify's premium service.)

In an attempt to shore up some good publicity, Jay Z and Tidal's other celebrity owners have been calling subscribers and thanking them. According to Tidal executive Vania Schlogel:

"[Hov] called some of his fans and one of them made the funniest comment. He said 'This is the best customer service call I've ever received!'"
OK, that's clearly not the "funniest" comment, but it is amusing.

Would a call from Jay Z factor into what streaming service you put your credit card down for?
