TMZ has learned that Meek Mill was charged with assault after a fight at St. Louis International Airport this afternoon.

Eye witnesses report that an airport employee tried to get a photo with Meek, but Mill felt he was being harassed and a scuffle ensued.

The airport police busted up the brawl and charged Meek and two airport workers with assault. However, they weren't arrested, and were instead given summons to appear in court.

While that makes it seem like it was a pretty minor fight, Mill is still on probation. So any type of run in with the law could be bad news for the MMG spitter.
