Drake's seventh album Honestly, Nevermind came as a surprise.
Then it was surprisingly a dance album.
A lot of his fans weren't feeling that surprise, and that may be reflected in its first-week sales projections.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Honestly, Nevermind is headed for 210k to 230K first week
While that should be good enough for number one on the album chart, that's way below all of Drake's previous full-length projects, including other surprise drops. His last album, Certified Lover Boy, did 613K first week last year.
Is this the beginning of the end for Drake? Or is Drake just having some fun with house music and he'll get his career back on track with his next project?
