When you do SXSW, you aren't necessarily playing for your typical fans.

That became a problem for Lil Yachty during his performance at the festival last night.

As you can see in the video below, Yachty didn't like the energy level in the crowd.

Last night was crazy. Universal had a pretty dope showcase with Dreezy, Metro Boomin, Denzel Curry and Lil Yachty. When he didn't feel the crowd was responding, he commented on the energy and a "fan" responded back. The interaction got real tense, real fast. Yachty later apologized.

“Damn that shit was so crazy,” Yachty said sarcastically. “That shit sounded like y’all dreaded that shit.”

“Me? What the fuck you want me to do?” Yachty said. Then members of his team started throwing liquids at the heckler.

“Shut your ass up, nigga,” Yachty replied. “Suck my dick, nigga. How about that, nigga?”
