Lil Wayne Gives Update On 'Carter 5'

Lil Wayne updated his much delayed Tha Carter 5 album during a recent Kloser 2 U tour stop.

“C5 coming soon. Fuck Cash Money. It’s the Roc," he said, and then threw up Jay Z's brand's diamond sign.

That seem to suggest that Carter V will be released on Jay Z's label, and is the latest instance of Wayne claiming Roc . However in an interview with Skip Bayless last week, Wayne admitted he was still on Cash Money, and classified Hov as a "friend" who is trying to help him.

For what it's worth, Birdman has said he plans to release Carter 5 sometime this year.
