Kylie Jenner and Tyga are in one of their broken up phases.

But of course they were both at Coachella this weekend.

The pair apparently had an "awkward" encounter at the festival before Kendrick Lamar's set Sunday night.

Perhaps it was so uncomfortable because the Lil Kardashian was spotted with another rapper -- and not 21 Savage, Kodak Black or any of the other young spitters who've been publicly taunting T-Raww by vying for the reality TV star's attention.

Instead her new dude is Travis Scott, with whom she was seen partying with at 2:30 AM Friday night.

“Kylie and Travis made their way to a private table, where they were joined by friends and enjoyed the deejay,” an observer tells PEOPLE. “After five minutes of being in a very crowded space, Travis got up and left the table, and Kylie followed him out with her friends following close behind her.”

“[Scott] and Kylie have also been friends for a while and they all hang out,” says the source. “When she and Tyga are having drama, she tries to make him jealous by hanging out with other guys.”
