Last month, we learned that Kodak Black was negotiating a new record contract.

It was assumed Atlantic, his current label, would get first dibs.

Perhaps they did, but that's not where Yak ended up.

According to Billboard, Black will be headed to Capitol after he fulfills his commitment to Atlantic with two more releases.

Orlando Wharton, who had signed Yak to Atlantic, recently jumped to Capitol paving the way for Kodak to join up.

The terms of the deal are so far undisclosed.
