Kevin Gates is being charged with simple battery after kicking 18-year old Miranda Dixon in the chest during a recent show in Florida.

Footage of the vicious kick has also turned fans against the 'I Don't Get Tired' emcee.

But Gates isn't backing down in his new single 'The Truth," in which he addresses the incident.

"I will not be disrespected, nigga or bitch," Gates states in the intro.

"She grabbed my dick overreacted I'm sorry / Two or three times I had already warned her" Gates raps.

"You should have respect for yourself," he says to Dixon in the chorus. "You a queen, and you wasn't respecting yourself."

Should Gates have just left this alone?
