Kendrick Lamar's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is not a radio-friendly album.
And that probably cost him sales and spins.
But Kendrick is comfortable with the decision to follow his art and his heart.
"My making the decision to make this album is just as simple as, just as hard as, whoever you want to put it, as me making an actual commercial album full of hit records. That right there is the temptation right there. But for the simple fact saying, I want to do it my way. And I want to continue the message on this album with so much expectation. It shows a lot of courage and a lot of integrity," K.Dot explained.
Did he make the right choice?
