The Game and 40 Glocc notoriously got into an altercation on a Hollywood street in 2012.

40 claims The Game first threatened him with a gun. Then he alleges Game and his ten man crew pummeled him, saying they would "end it" if he fought back. A video of part of the beating became popular on the Internet.

Soon after, 40 Glocc sued Game for assault and battery.

Yesterday, we finally got some resolution in the case, with Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Susan Bruguera ruling Game owes 40 Glocc $3,000.

In ending the first part of the trial, Bruguera criticized Glocc's testimony.

"The court finds plaintiff's total disregard for the truth while testifying results in his failure to carry his burden of proof on all causes of action except for the undisputed battery," Brugera wrote, suggesting she would have awarded more if 40 was more truthful on the stand.
But Game isn't out of the woods yet. There will now be a second phase of the trial in which punitive damages are determined.

If the judge decides Game should be punished for his behavior, 40 Glocc could still win a large settlement.

Here's video of the (for now) three grand beating:
