Like our President, Joey Bada$$ wanted everybody to know he was man enough to stare right at the eclipse earlier this week.

This ain't the first solar eclipse and I'm pretty sure our ancestors ain't have no fancy eyewear. Also pretty sure they ain't all go blind.

That's pretty solid logic. But most of our ancestors didn't have to go on to do three shows right after the eclipse. Joey was supposed to, but that's no longer happening.

We don't know for sure if Joey's cancellations were eye related. But we do know that the Everybody Tour, which also features Logic, is still hitting those cities. Meaning the unforeseen circumstances just relate to Bada$$.

We hope Joey hasn't done any permanent damage.

Update: Badass may have acknowledged that he did some damage to his eyes by retweeting a bunch of articles that suggested he did and posting this, which could now have more than one meaning.
