J. Cole was among the performers at the Meadows Festival in New York this weekend.

And he had bad news for anybody who wants to catch him at a festival or show in the future.

“Before I get outta here. This my last show for a very long time,” J. Cole told fans during his Saturday headliner gig.

That revelation was still certainly better than what happened at Meadows Sunday night, when Kanye West left the stage mid-set to deal with the aftermath of his wife getting robbed in Paris.

It's been almost two years since Cole dropped 2014 Forest Hill Drive. It would seem like J. is ditching the road for the studio and a new album.
