Desiigner's gospel-tinged XXL Freestyle has the internet talking (and remixing.)

In the 19-year old's attempt to not sound like Future, he might be on to something, so he's turning it into a full song. An almost two minute clip of 'Timmy Turner' was previewed on Periscope with Mike Dean, who is executive producing his debut album.

What this has taught us is that Desiigner has potential if he gives up the Future clone act and tries to focus on branding his own sound. 'Timmy Turner' worked because it was a hot melody, and it gave us a piece of Desiigner that was his own.
