The Game's latest album, The Documentary 2, dropped yesterday. The original sold 586,000 in its first week. But that was back in 2005, things are different now.

But even in this tough new environment, the initial projections are a bit soft. HDD is predicting The Documentary 2 will do 60-70k copies (75-85k SPS) in its first week. For comparison sake, Fetty Wap's self-titled debut just did 125K SPS in its first week.

Game still has another album dropping next week, and if he can repeat those numbers the project suddenly becomes a big success. The Game is also releasing The Documentary 2 and 2.5  independently, so he's probably going to make a little more money than others selling the same amount.
